Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the RCF Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the required eligibility:
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 or Matriculation with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates must possess an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.
- ITI must be approved by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).
2. Skill Requirements
- Basic knowledge of the selected trade.

Selection Process
The selection process is very simple. There is no written exam, no interview, and no physical test.
Selection will be done on the basis of:
- 10th Class Marks
- ITI Marks
A combined merit list will be prepared using these marks. Candidates with higher marks stand a better chance of selection. Once the merit list is prepared, selected candidates will be called for Document Verification. After successful verification, the final training allotment will be done.
PST / PET Details
There is no PST (Physical Standard Test) and no PET (Physical Efficiency Test) for the RCF Apprentice Recruitment.
Since the job role is training-based and not a physical post, candidates do not need to run, lift objects or perform any fitness activity. Only medical fitness is required as per apprenticeship rules.
Salary / Stipend
Apprentices are paid a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act and Railway Board rules.
The exact stipend amount changes from time to time, but generally apprentices receive a fixed monthly stipend during training. It is paid to help them manage expenses while learning technical skills.
The stipend increases when apprenticeship rules are revised. Although it is not a full salary, it provides financial support throughout the training period.
